Chapter 246: The Arrival of God-Ancestor Shiya, Part II - Stop Hypnotizing Me, Villainous Princess!

Chapter 247: The Arrival of God-Ancestor Shiya, Part II "Crack—!!!" With the sound of space shattering, the first to look up was the witch with a keen sense of the divine. Following closely was the Moon Goddess Tiya, her brows deeply furrowed, instinctively clutching her chest, and gazing worriedly at the anomaly emerging from the rift in the divine moon. "Someone's coming." In the next moment, the sky shattered like a mirror, unleashing turbulent currents from the void, creating an indescribable scene. It was a spectacle that only formed where reality and illusion intersected, akin to the auroras Lin En had seen in his past life. Yet, in the face of such magnificence, none had the mind to admire it. For accompanying this appearance was a formidable power emanating from a top-tier predator. It was a dread-inducing aura of dominance and infinity, like the vastness of a starry sky, even altering the weather as a vortex-like storm raged over the divine moon's rift. All who opposed this presence would feel despair the instant they sensed it. Gazing at the figure hovering in the sky, the witch's expression changed abruptly. The End Witch, always so aloof and indifferent, must have seen something overwhelming to appear so shaken. From her eyes, Lin En could clearly read an etched, deep-seated hatred and a hint of inescapable despair. It was the first time Lin En had ever seen the witch reveal such an expression. Crushed by that immense aura, Lin En subconsciously gritted his teeth and looked up. A searing pain penetrated him, and warm blood trickled slowly from the corner of his eyes. At that moment, Lin En felt as if he were staring directly into the sun. Or perhaps, at a terrifying being far more befitting of the title "God" than the Moon Goddess Beatrice. Do not gaze upon a god. In that brief instance, Lin En felt his soul bombarded by an unprecedented, terrifying impact, nearly losing consciousness. Fortunately, at a critical moment, two soft little hands reached from either side, gripping him firmly. Cold as ice and faintly trembling, yet they seemed to imbue Lin En with courage and strength. Iviste and Goddess Tiya stood by his side. Clearly, with their levels and stature, they instantly comprehended the levels upon which their opposition stood. An entity far beyond their ability to resist. Just when they thought they had clawed their way out of despair, they found themselves plunged into an even more terrifying abyss. "Is it you?" The voice from the high heavens cast its gaze upon the witch, seeming a tad surprised. "I didn't expect the eternal prison, renowned as the ultimate place of the pantheon, to have failed to completely trap you, even letting you find a loophole." "If I hadn't discovered it in time, history might have really changed because of you." As the oppressive presence descended from above, the witch, having just battled Beatrice fiercely, flickered, on the brink of vanishing. After all, her current form was merely a spiritual vestige, sustained by her obsession with Lin En. Her face was pale, yet her eyes glimmered with hatred and murderous intent, wordlessly staring at the sky above. Who exactly? Hearing the entity's words, Lin En gritted his teeth, his heart pounding intensely, straining to discern the grand silhouette cloaked in the luminescent order of laws and powers. But no matter how he tried, the identity of the presence was beyond the comprehension of a second-tier transcendent like him. Seemingly aware of the tiny life below trying to defy his authority, the figure made a curious sound, then looked down. Indeed. He hadn't noticed Lin En's existence the moment he descended. As if Lin En were merely some pebbles beneath a giant's feet, easily overlooked unless given special attention. "A mere ant, tormented by the threads of fate, striving desperately to leave a mark in the river of time." The voice from the beyond was grand and serene, "Alas, it's all in vain. You, having overstretched your fate, have not much time left." "So this is the disharmony I sensed from fate… how utterly dull." He seemed to pronounce a merciless verdict on Lin En's destiny, as if talking to himself. It's him!!! Hearing that voice, Lin En instantly recognized the entity. Shiya Asvant! However, the presence before him was not Shiya from this timeline. At his four-tier level, no matter how much he hacked the system, he couldn't produce such power. Thus, there was only one possibility. After all, traversing the river of time shouldn't be a feat exclusive to the witch. Thus, this presence could only be one thing. He was God-Ancestor Shiya from ten thousand years in the future, the mastermind who imprisoned the witch in the pantheon, and also the protagonist's ultimate form! Realizing this, a deep sense of humiliation surged within Lin En. He subconsciously tightened his grip on the cold hands of the empress and goddess, yet restrained the urge to unleash his frustration, merely gritting his teeth as if to almost shatter them. To be honest. Since arriving in this world, aside from his twisted relationship with Iviste, Lin En had barely encountered any insurmountable adversity. His grudges were swiftly avenged. Be it against Dalian and Eunice of the Mosgra family or retaliating against Congressman Black and the fourth prince, Joshua, at the Punisher Headquarters. For obstacles he deemed unsurpassable in this life, Lin En never felt someone could force such sentiments upon him. Until now, such an entity seemed to have appeared. Damn it!!! Damn it all!!! Recalling his dismissive attitude and condescension, an unprecedented fury boiled within. Quick, remember! Remember any means to face this impending doom! Lin En, oh Lin En, if you do nothing now, the witch and the others will be in grave danger! Even a fool would know; the enemy did not arrive at this juncture with friendly intentions. Inevitably, only a confrontation to the death awaited them both. As canine teeth pierced his lip, the taste of rust filled his mouth, clearing Lin En's mind slightly. Even so, the sensation in his heart was oppressive. All available strategies were depleted against the Moon Goddess Beatrice. Yet still, compared to the future God-Ancestor Shiya, what were hundreds of leagues? Why now, of all times, face the final boss? He had anticipated at least two or three more years, yet the timeline had unexpectedly advanced to this moment. Despair filled Lin En's gaze. Typically governed by reason and wisdom, he was acutely aware that they stood on the precipice of an inescapable fate. "I'll make an opening for you," at this moment, the witch spoke in a hoarse voice, "don't look back, take him and leave." As a prisoner of the pantheon, exposed in her temporal transgression, the End Witch certainly knew the future Shiya would not let her go. But regardless, Lin En, an anomaly independent of this world, remained her last hope. At the very least, he should escape alive. "You—" Lin En instinctively wanted to release his grip, reaching for the witch, but suddenly felt a red light immobilize him. Turning his head desperately, he found it was Iviste who sealed his movements. Clearly, upon seeing Shiya, she decided sacrificing the End Witch was necessary. This was not an adversary to conquer through brute strength. Even the proud empress understood this instantly. "At this point, you've developed a tacit understanding." The witch let out a rare, soft laugh as she witnessed Iviste's actions. Yet no matter how hard she tried, the empress couldn't force a smile, only responding with deliberately caustic and sharp words, "…Don't die." From high above, God-Ancestor Shiya perceived their subtle exchange and spoke calmly, "Relax, none of you are getting away." His calm gaze swept over Tiya and the Moon Goddess, noticing that their eyes were fixated unwaveringly on the ant known as Lin En. For reasons unknown, a flicker of anger and restlessness surged within him. Fortunately, the divine coldness and indifference quickly suppressed these emotions. Even so, God-Ancestor Shiya sensed something was amiss and gently raised his right hand. If each deity were to be summarized with a single word that encapsulates their authority and style, then the Moon Goddess Tiya would be purity, and the witch's symbol would be destruction. Unlike any other, God-Ancestor Shiya stood apart. Just like his power and divine nature. Infinite. And signifying infinity was the boundless starry sky, the eternal cycle of creation and destruction, eventually inevitable to settle into coldness and silence. Perhaps to quell that unusual emotion deep inside, God-Ancestor Shiya summoned glimmering stars from the sky, which seemed to coalesce into a vast and boundless universe. In the next moment, a cascade of stars plummeted from the heavens! It was a scene as despair-inducing as the apocalypse. Yet even in this despair, a faint red glow ignited on the witch, like a spark in the darkness, illuminating the endless night. "Leave now!!!" Her eyes showed no fear, as she soared towards the sky like a moth to a flame. This was the last image engraved in Lin En's eyes. After that, he completely lost consciousness. (End of Chapter)
