[Volume 4]: Chapter 116 - A Sweet Girl Won’t Be Fooled By The Villainess

When Amelia was temporarily forgiven by Ifia, she became extremely clingy. She raised her arm and hugged Amelia closely. However, after arriving at the residence of Saint Tiffany, they hadn’t seen the saint even after a whole hour, nor had they seen Taromati who was staying there as well, which puzzled Ifia. After all, it was impolite to visit someone’s home and not be greeted by the host. Therefore, sitting on the sofa in the living room, Ifia turned her head to Amelia and asked, "Amelia, where did Saint Tiffany go? We haven't seen her!" When in doubt, just turn to Amelia~ Everything will be fine! Sure enough, living up to everyone's expectations, after a moment of contemplation, Amelia immediately replied, "When we arrived, I saw Taromati loitering outside, perhaps they have something to attend to! While abusing Taromati as a fool before, Amelia had already noticed Saint Tiffany nearby. Thus, instigating their relationship was a calculated move. Although Saint Tiffany was willing to help Ifia mend her broken soul, Amelia did not trust her, especially after Saint Tiffany had tamed Taromati, the foolish snake, posing a greater threat. Therefore, instigating discord between Saint Tiffany and Taromati made it easier for Amelia to control everything. Cutting off Saint Tiffany's retreat would prevent her from having any other ideas. Devote herself wholeheartedly to helping Ifia mend her broken soul. Moreover, Taromati should also wake up by now. To continue to indulge in fabrications, however sweet, would eventually lead to the revelation of the truth. It’s not too late now, leaving as soon as possible would save a lot of heartache later on. Amelia didn’t need to think twice; she knew that after Taromati was emotionally hurt, she would definitely be the first to come to her for comfort. Amelia found this very annoying. Instead of that, why not spend time with her little darling? Why accompany a foolish snake? Therefore, she took the initiative this time to call Taromati a fool and then exposed the fact that the saint didn’t love her. Even if Taromati felt sad and heartbroken, she would not come to Amelia due to embarrassment. It could be said to kill two birds with one stone. Of course, Saint Tiffany could continue to prevaricate and deny the matter, but the incident would always be a thorn in Taromati's heart, constantly doubting the sincerity of Saint Tiffany. It would be a lingering problem. It would be better to cut ties now rather than later. It wouldn’t matter even if Taromati was gone. As long as Ifia's broken soul was successfully repaired, Amelia would ensure that Saint Tiffany would not be harmed in the future. After all, Ifia was just human, and there would always be a need for Saint Tiffany’s help in the future. For this reason, Amelia would not act against the saint. On the contrary, she would provide protection. In this way, the answer to how to choose was about to become apparent. Thinking about all this, Amelia remained composed and continued to embrace the clingy cutie in her arms. As a demon adept at tormenting others, she naturally knew how to use everything until she saw the other person in pain and despair, which was much more interesting than mere slaughter. However, ever since Ifia came into her life, it had been a long time since Amelia sought 'fun'. And she didn’t feel like she was missing out on anything. After all, with her current power, she was an invincible presence in this world. She didn’t have to worry about being surpassed by other demons. She naturally had enough ability to protect Ifia. Now, she only needed to think about how to destroy this world. However, she had to wait until Ifia's broken soul was successfully repaired before she could really let loose. "Ifia, welcome." Before Ifia could think about why she hadn’t seen Saint Tiffany, the saint appeared. Greeting her with warmth, Ifia quickly responded, sitting up straight and bowing, "Your Highness, sorry for the disturbance." The noble etiquette of the Sisi Empire was indeed troublesome, but in order not to lose face for Amelia, Ifia had earnestly studied it in private, even asking for Jessica's help to check. She was not going to be Amelia's burden! So, speaking in a rather polished manner, she surprised Amelia, who raised her eyebrows. When did the little one learn all this? As Amelia incredulously stared at her, Ifia swelled with pride, making herself comfortable. (*3(`3) Showing off to Amelia, she grinned smugly and her black eyes turned into crescents, incredibly adorable. Unable to contain her smile, Amelia also raised her hand and placed it over Ifia's hand. Although the final layer of pretense had not been pierced, the ambiguous atmosphere and excessive intimacy indicated an unconventional relationship between the two, with ulterior motives hidden. As a knowing witness, Saint Tiffany didn’t find anything surprising. She simply thought about what had just transpired. After her response, Taromati had left disheartened, and for some reason, that saddened her deeply. Wasn't this what she wanted? Why was she feeling guilty now? Shrugging it off, Saint Tiffany had been raised in the church and had long ago decided to devote everything to the god of light, vowing never to be with a demon. Hence, Taromati would eventually have to leave, and sooner was better than later. With a gentle smile, Saint Tiffany then said to Ifia, "Because of the special nature of the ritual, you need to rest here for the night and the ceremony will be held tomorrow. Is that alright?" "No problem." After quickly setting the time for the ceremony, Saint Tiffany didn't disturb the two anymore, allowing Ifia to sneak a glance at her as she walked upstairs. She then slouched against Amelia, quietly saying, "I wonder what happened to the saint. I feel like she is really sad!" Amelia didn’t even look at her and just let the little one do as she pleased on her lap, helplessly pinching her soft cheek, "How do you know that?" "Hmph, I can tell just by looking. I am amazing, you know!" Annoyed, Ifia snorted and slapped Amelia’s hand away, then decided to retaliate by pinching Amelia's cheeks as well. Amelia, in her prime of development, had a stunning face, and with less chubby cheeks, they were hard to grab, leaving Ifia frustrated and having to give up. Seeing Amelia burst into laughter, Ifia couldn’t stay mad. She boldly kissed Amelia’s cheek. After resting for a night at Saint Tiffany's residence, Ifia rose early. After freshening up, she eagerly anticipated the upcoming special ceremony. Just thinking about participating in a special ceremony organized by Saint Tiffany made her excited. Fortunately, Saint Tiffany didn’t keep her waiting long and led her and Amelia along a secret passage to the basement. When they lit the torches hanging on the wall, a complex circular pattern of a ritual platform appeared at their feet, shining brightly in the flickering light. At the edge of the circular platform sat a wooden table with a small white bowl placed on it. The bowl was bubbling, with a strange liquid inside, which appeared to be swirling with vivid dark hues. As Ifia was curious, Saint Tiffany walked straight to the table, took the white bowl in her hands, and gestured for Ifia to stand in the center of the circular platform. Under Amelia's watchful gaze, the saint dipped her index finger in the liquid. Then, raising her hand, Saint Tiffany touched Ifia's forehead, causing her to suddenly feel dizzy. In the next moment, as Ifia was feeling dizzy, a faint apparition gradually appeared above her head. In the apparition, snow-white wings spread out and slowly flapped in mid-air. A head of dazzling golden hair lifted, revealing bright golden irises, and a face entirely identical to Ifia's.
