Chapter 677 - My Doomsday Territory
**My Apocalypse Territory: Chapter 677 - "Your Ship is Nice, But Now It's Mine"** The Initial set sail with a violent thrust, the hull nearly capsizing as it teetered towards the crashing waves. Mid-air, the ship flipped once more... Boom!! The Initial performed a 360-degree somersault before landing stylishly, sending a towering wave a hundred meters high. The vessel quivered under the strain again. "Fire!" The automatic, semi-automatic, and fully manual weapons and cannons aboard the Initial all roared into action. While these cannons had little success against agile Union Realm experts, they were another story entirely against the pirate ships. Amidst the explosions, the Deep Sea Megalodon maneuvered with an agility that belied its size, dodging most of the artillery in snake-like motions. Lorraine's eyelid twitched. "Keep firing, deal with the small fry first." The cannons swiveled, targeting the seven distant pirate ships. Finally, the truth of the cannon's effective range was showcased. A few of the escort-grade pirate ships were shredded, the pirates aboard wildly abandoning ship, many more unluckily obliterated by the barrage before they could even panic. The same fate met the flagship of Blood Eye. This flagship-grade vessel, already wounded by slashing attacks, witnessed its crew, from leaders to lackeys, flee in droves, remaining defenseless as it was torn apart. Lorraine felt a pang of regret. She had hoped to sell those pirate ships—especially the flagship, which would fetch a decent price with just a fresh layer of paint to mask its ugliness. However, as the captain, she had to be decisive. The Deep Sea Megalodon posed a persistent threat; should the pirates regain control of those ships, their blanket fire assault would severely pressure the Initial. Beneath the ocean, a colossal shadow emerged again. Lorraine and Shay stood on the deck, eyes narrowed, their divine weaponry shifting forms in their grip. Kong, stepping across the waves, returned to the Initial, standing statue-still atop a defensive tower. The sea seemed to calm momentarily. A long pause... "No, we can't lock onto the Deep Sea Megalodon's position." Bang! Bang! Bang! The Initial trembled violently once more as the Deep Sea Megalodon submerged again. Deep within the Megalodon, eerie lights illuminated the surrounding waters. The Megalodon was piloted by a lean middle-aged man. Unlike the malicious aura of Blood Eye, he appeared somber. One would hardly imagine that this cautious figure commanded an 800,000 bounty as the notorious pirate. Despite his fearsome moniker, the Megalodon was overly prudent, seldom leaving the safety of his ship. He knew well he had many enemies, having narrowly escaped an empire's siege thanks to the Deep Sea Megalodon. He could outmaneuvered mighty navies, just as a gecko sacrifices its tail. At this moment, The interior replayed the scene where Kong decimated Blood Eye. The Megalodon had a chance to save Blood Eye, but his caution ruled. He felt nearing made even the Megalodon unsafe. As long as he held the Deep Sea Megalodon, he could summon endless pirate minions—even Union Realm experts could be recruited. Blood Eye hadn't been too negligent, but frequent sea exploits always risked capsizing… Union Realm's resilient survivability was the key for their reckless bravado. Even against Divine Realm pursuers, escape was still a chance, while Kong, with speed, strength, and origin force perhaps just slightly superior by two or three times, wielded an attack strength of 999+. "Rule-based attack!" The Megalodon watched the playback repeatedly, finally confirming what, though difficult to believe, seemed the only explanation. A Union Realm expert brushing the rules… even the information of such could fetch a high price. But if he could capture him, the value, regardless of control, could escalate a hundredfold, a thousandfold—top-tier pirates and pirate generals can easily subjugate anyone; Divine Realm captives are not a challenge. "Keep circling and avoid close quarters, just sink that warship." The Deep Sea Megalodon submerged, unleashing deep-water origin-force shells. On the initial surface, Lorraine and her team were oblivious as the shells repeatedly battered the bottom of the Initial, its rune shields already overwhelmed. If Kong and others dove underwater, the Deep Sea Megalodon would neither engage nor approach, instead retreating far, waiting for Kong's group to succumb to the boundless ocean's origin force erosion, ultimately surfacing, whereupon the Megalodon would stealthily approach again. He slowly cornered his prey like a seasoned hunter. Bang! The rune shields collapsed, a deep-water shell punctured the Initial's underbelly armor. The hull cracked, seawater flooding the cabin. With the Deep Sea Megalodon, the Megalodon reigned supreme in the ocean, evading empire clutches. "Yes, your ship is rather splendid." The Megalodon: "???" "Who are you? How did you get in here?" Even before speaking, the Megalodon had hit the alarm, and dozens of bladed pirates surged into the captain’s chamber. The Deep Sea Megalodon housed few pirates, yet its latent capabilities made this maritime overlord easy to man. Onboard were elite pirates, none below the tenth level of awakening. Void walkers and Union-level pirates were not uncommon. Yet, none of this set the Megalodon's mind at ease. As a long-time pirate, he'd never favored melee skirmishes, and this was the first time someone infiltrated his ship. He turned his head, seeing a figure clad in a black cloak and silver half-face mask, standing less than five meters away. Dozens of pirates erupted in source energy, lunging at the cloaked figure. They controlled the dispersed energy, but the captain’s chamber flickered with shifting shadows. Sizzle— The residual blast left the chamber a wreck, yet the cloaked figure stood unchanged. ‘Did it succeed?’ ‘Wait...’ The cloaked figure remained untouched—remarkably even his clothes bore not a single mark, suggesting regenerative powers. In the turbulent currents, even his attire remained unmoved. He stepped forward, appearing before a Void Walker. Reaching out, his cloak flickered ever so slightly, and touching a pirate's forehead— Boom! Other pirates’ furious attacks struck, but the cloaked figure emerged unscathed again. A reaper, effortlessly harvesting pirate souls. Sh-sh-sh-sh~ The surrounding walls twisted into the hide of a massive creature, writhing to encage the figure. Sizzle— Corrosive fog surged, even pulling in seawater from the endless ocean outside. The cloaked figure leapt forward, bypassing layers of barriers, closing in on the Megalodon. ‘Spirit, aura, and some special control technique.’ The cloaked figure was none other than Tang Yu's... space-attribute clone. Two years' immersion had brought his space understanding to an impressive hypothetical level 99, though the cap might be at level 10,000. The space clone remained in the Green Shade, studying rules, not journeying with the ship. Tang Yu had left a slightly dull clone on the Initial—his numerous clones aside from the strongest nine, those focused on learning, cooking, handling affairs 1, 2, and 3 were considered somewhat mindless. Their purpose was singular: survival. But Lord Tang had long achieved a level of self-preservation beyond need, having used countless life-saving items. Despite leaving even dull clones unscathed, was he lacking in survival capability? The dull clone served as a locator—Navigating the boundless Infinite Sea transcended location crystals’ limits, but clones, theoretically, maintained awareness across worlds… long-term side-effects remained unknown. Tang Yu's space clone utilized teleportation arrays to reach uninhabited isles near the Bluewater Principality, then executed long-range space leaps to the Initial. Stealthily aboard, he monitored the Deep Sea Megalodon, analyzed, and directly navigated through origin-force shells to infiltrate the Deep Sea Megalodon. Pirate power was restricted aboard the Megalodon, but barrages left its interior scarred, prompting Tang Yu’s concern for his future vessel. These pirates were beyond pardon! Stop! He released the "Earth's Lock"; pirate numbers held no significance against the space clone—whether five or fifty Union Realms… the Deep Sea Megalodon harbored far fewer, with Megalodon himself merely an ordinary peak Union Realm. Carefully eliminated—headshot bounties of famous pirates still fetched quite the reward. Within the confines of the Deep Sea Megalodon, the tang of blood lingered in the air. Tang Yu sensed a faint inkling of fear and aversion emanating from it. The Megalodon lay abandoned, yet continued to shudder and quake intermittently. This was at the bottom of the sea, after all! Tang Yu found himself slightly at a loss. Question: How does one persuade a possibly sentient warship?
