623.1 - I Was Genderswapped and Reincarnated as a Villainess, but I’m Making this My Personal Yuri Game

Chapter 623: "Reunion" "Let’s do our best today! Our immediate concern is getting through the inevitable morning rush without a hitch!" "Yeah!" "Let’s work hard!" After Sakuya's group set out, Class 2-3 was filled with determination. Their exhibit today was destined for success. All the members of Class 2-3 shared a singular goal: to complete the cultural festival without burdening or troubling Lady Sakuya Kujou. "Lady Kujou made half of our class's products on her own." "And the items handcrafted by Lady Kujou sold like hotcakes, quickly selling out." "That’s why we must handle at least the sales without troubling her!" With Lady Sakuya Kujou's handcrafted accessories and trinkets on sale, the goods would fly off the shelves. If everything was displayed at once in the morning, the Sakuya-branded products would sell out by midday. To prevent this, they planned the release timing and quantity of her items strategically. Lady Kujou already took on the burden of crafting nearly half of the class's products alone. The last thing they wanted was to trouble her with sales as well. They managed to convince her to avoid working the morning shift at the booth and also to steer clear of restocking during busy times. Nevertheless, if Lady Kujou were to man the booth, customers seeking her out would surely flock there. It was inevitable, as Lady Kujou insisted on helping. However, they were determined to handle the busier times themselves, allowing her to work during less chaotic hours. The entire Class 2-3 wished to spend the cultural festival without incident. "They're coming... everyone, let's give it our all!" "Yeah!" "Right!" As throngs of customers poured in with the opening, the battle for Class 2-3 had just begun. ~~~~~ Takatsuji Ayame was at Fujihana Academy from the crack of dawn. However, she did not join Sakuya and the others. She notified Sakuya in advance that she'd be joining later. But why delay joining them when she was already there? Ayame had a reason early in the morning. "Step aside!" "I saw it first!" Ayame found herself in the midst of chaos — the classroom of Class 2-3. The room was packed with people desperately trying to acquire Sakuya's branded products. Ayame was among them. Entering with the opening rush, Ayame headed straight for Class 2-3. In the hallway, she passed by Sakuya's group, who seemed not to notice her. However, Ayame had spotted Sakuya. Despite this, she chose to proceed to Class 2-3. Now, with the morning batch sold out, Ayame held... nothing. "All Lady Kujou's products from the morning batch are sold out! They're sold out! The next restock is at 10 o'clock," announced the store clerk. Amidst the fruitless announcement, Ayame was smiling. Not obtaining any products in the morning was part of her plan. Everything was going as Ayame calculated. There's a record of who bought what this time so that those who obtained Sakuya's products this morning couldn't monopolize them again during the next restock. What's more, the festival's purchasing system required guests to buy exchange tickets at the entrance before redeeming them for products, so those who rushed in without tickets left empty-handed. Ayame hadn't initially purchased the exchange tickets and thus had no chance to buy anything. If she'd attempted to procure a ticket outside, it would have sold out by the time she returned. Therefore, Ayame didn't bother with acquiring tickets outside. Everything was according to her plan. Ayame deliberately opted out of the morning batch. Her goal was to inspect the Sakuya-branded goods in the classroom without tickets, knowing well she couldn’t buy anyway. Having assessed the merchandise, Ayame was now set on what to purchase in the next restock. Although the items might not be exactly the same, she understood the trend. Ayame wasn’t aiming to acquire just anything handcrafted by Sakuya. She carefully selected something to fit her style and wear daily. Prepared to be late in meeting with Sakuya and company, she confirmed her desired items and acquired the silver accessory she aimed for during the second restock. ~~~~~ Hoozuki, Suzuran, and Karin were strolling without any particular aim. Without purpose or interest, they wandered simply for the sake of it. "Is there anything Suzuran or Karin want to see?" asked Hoozuki. "...No. Nothing." "Umm..." Hoozuki's question left them both at a loss. With no destination or specific tasks, the suggestion of enjoying other class exhibits lacked appeal. Class 2-4’s top choice for the festival exhibit was a café. Despite Sakuya’s advice from last year, "It’s better not to do it again," 2-4 voted overwhelmingly to outperform last year's Class 1-3 in execution, choosing it as their primary focus. This decision resulted in five classes pitching café ideas, leading 2-4 to drop their café plans after discussions. Lacking motivation, they opted for a low-effort exhibit instead. They arranged staff for the display, but with no real need for high attendance. Hence, Hoozuki and her friends had an abundance of aimless free time, uninterested in the display. "Shall we visit Lady Kujou's products?" Karin casually suggested a topic of interest to the group. Yet their responses were lukewarm. "It's best to avoid that... You saw it earlier, right?" "...Yeah. It’s a madhouse." Being next door, Hoozuki and the others witnessed the huge crowd surging into Class 2-3 with intense fervor. Seeing that chaos, they lost all desire to join in. They anticipated Lady Kujou’s handmade items would be very popular, but the reality exceeded those expectations. Despite a fleeting hope of buying something, it was an unattainable wish. Ultimately without tasks or interests, they drifted aimlessly around the festival. Suddenly, a shadow lunged at Hoozuki, tackling her. "Oof!" The sudden impact left Hoozuki gasping for air, nearly causing her insides to erupt from her mouth. Suzuran and Karin looked over at Hoozuki, bewildered by the commotion. "Hello! Would you big sisters like to tour the festival with me?" "―!?" "So...cute!" It was Akigiri who tackled Hoozuki. Looking up adorably, tilting his head, he extended the invite. This child was naturally charming, a trait inherited from the same family line as Sakuya, whom he affectionately called "big sister." "Oh, I’m sorry everyone. It seems Akigiri caused some trouble while I took my eyes off him..." Arriving a bit later, Sakuya—a natural charmer herself—appeared. Just seeing her made it easy to forgive anything. "No worries, Sakuya. We were invited by Akigiri; can we join you?" "Of course," Sakuya responded with a smile, captivating everyone. Truly, this sister and brother were effortlessly charming. "I'm in too. Let’s tour with Sakuya," Suzuran nodded. "This should make the festival a bit more fun," added Karin, joining them alongside Hoozuki. However, Hoozuki was preoccupied with something else. "Sakuya... by any chance..." "Huh?" "Did you say something, Hoozuki?" Suzuran and Karin tilted their heads, curious about Hoozuki's strange behavior. Yet, Hoozuki was caught in her own thoughts. Despite having been caught off guard, Akigiri’s tackle had been tough. The impact was strong, and it left her feeling like her organs might have burst from her mouth. Yet, Sakuya always received Akigiri’s spontaneous tackles with ease. Could Sakuya possibly have extraordinary muscles? As an athletic member, Hoozuki was lean with defined muscles, yet even she found Akigiri’s tackle challenging. If Sakuya handled it effortlessly, she must be exceptionally strong. While Sakuya was known for her athletic prowess, suggesting some muscle tone, Hoozuki began to suspect she might be far more physically conditioned than initially thought. Otherwise, she couldn’t endure those tackles without even a wobble. "Then let's all head out together," Sakuya cheerfully suggested. Drawn by Sakuya’s smile, Hoozuki abruptly reached out and touched her abdomen. "This is...!?" "...Hoozuki?" Sakuya looked bewildered as Hoozuki was in shock. Even through the uniform, Hoozuki felt the telltale firmness of Sakuya's toned abs. It wasn’t the soft belly typical of a girl her age but rather a well-defined strength that only intense training could craft. "Hey! Hoozuki, what are you doing to Lady Sakuya?" "Hoozuki, that's not fair! I want to touch Sakuya too!" "What!? Wait!" As Hoozuki ran her hand over Sakuya’s abdomen, group members swiftly rallied around, eager to touch Sakuya as well. It was natural, as they all secretly longed for any opportunity to be near her. Once one started, the rest couldn't help but follow, causing quite the scene. "Hey! Please, everyone, calm down! Calm down~~!" Despite Sakuya's pleas, the playful chaos continued for some time, much to the onlookers' amusement. ~~~~~ Having regrouped with Hoozuki and friends, Sakuya's group wandered the cultural festival. Though they visited various class exhibits and plays, few truly piqued their interest. As they explored, the time ticked past ten and more acquaintances joined them. "Sorry for the wait, Sakuya," Ayame-sensei called out. "Ms. Ayame! And Momiji is with you, too." "I apologize for keeping you waiting, Lady Sakuya," Momiji added as she joined them. Almost everyone had gathered... except one. "It would have been lovely for Anzu to join us... but she's likely in class with the seniors now..." Sakuya lamented, noting the absence of Anzu even as more acquaintances gathered. However, Chigaya frowned and tilted her head, puzzled by Sakuya's assumption. "Anzu's been with us since morning, hasn't she? Anzu! Come out!" "Yes!" came Anzu’s reply. "Wait, from where?" Anzu emerged rustling from a nearby bush, a leaf adorably perched atop her head. Her surprise appearance startled everyone, including Sakuya. "Anzu usually captures photos of me and Sakuya together. We've been together since this morning," Chigaya happily explained. "Heh, really...?" Sakuya, bewildered, listened as Chigaya and Anzu began boasting about their endeavor. Unbeknownst to her, Anzu had been covertly photographing moments whenever Sakuya and Chigaya were together, aiming to capture natural expressions uninfluenced by a camera’s awareness. Although reasonable on the surface, Sakuya felt unsettled. Surely even friends need permission before snapping photos without one’s knowledge? Yet none in the group sided with her view—Anzu’s sneakily captured photos had been a delightful secret shared among them. Anzu’s penchant for clandestine photography extended beyond Chigaya, encompassing many of Sakuya’s interactions. The group relished in Anzu’s candid shots, and the idea of losing that resourcefulness was unthinkable. So when Sakuya mentioned "sneak shots," no one agreed; instead, they worked together to pacify and persuade her. "Oh! Lady Sakuya! It’s almost time for us to take over as clerks!" "Really? Is it that late already? Alright then." (Nice save, Azami!) Thanks to Azami’s quick intervention, the subject of Anzu’s photography was conveniently dropped. At times like these, everyone collaborated to gently deceive or convince Sakuya to let minor issues slide. This time, however, the ruse served a genuine purpose, as it was indeed time for their shift. Thus, Sakuya and the group headed back to Class 2-3’s classroom.
