262 - I Don’t Want to Be Turned Into the Female Protagonist by the System
### Chapter 262: Victory Belongs to Gu Panpan Today! The day after the final exams concluded, the class had their regular meeting. Surprisingly, this time, it was Wu Liang who hosted the meeting. Su Qi found it incredibly intriguing. Could this possibly indicate that 'Teacher Wu Liang' was now more valued by the school? After repeatedly reminding everyone to "stay safe," Wu Liang announced the start of summer vacation. Instantly, the students erupted in cheers. However, the enthusiasm was short-lived for some students after his following remarks. "Those who didn’t pass the exams, remember to return to school for the first three days of summer break. There will be supplementary classes where teachers will be available for your questions." With that, the summer vacation officially began. Like last year, it was to last two months. But this year, Su Qi anticipated it more than before. Unlike last year, she didn't have to worry about inn expenses, work part-time for a living, or wander outside to get by. Moreover, this time when she returned home, she would be greeted by her good-natured father and her gentle, virtuous, beautiful, and skillful cook of a mother. The thought alone made Su Qi eagerly look forward to the break. However, Su Qi wasn't in a rush to head home; her third brother, Su Santai, planned to drive home in a few days and offered to take her with him. Su Qi missed her third brother very much. Unlike the double standards of Su Siyang, Su Santai had always been caring towards her since she was a boy. Thinking of Su Santai’s chubby physique, Su Qi couldn’t help but wonder if he had found a girlfriend yet. By noon, the 507 dormitory was filled as Su Qi, her two roommates, and Gu Panpan gathered for a final pre-holiday celebration. They covered the entire table with tin foil, laying out an array of snacks, drinks, and barbecued goodies. Gu Panpan, somehow, had brought four wine glasses, each filled with a deep amber wine. Su Qi found this somewhat amazing. Last year, during the same celebration at the boys' dorm, they had also drunk but never with such crystal-clear wine glasses; they drank straight from cans! Additionally, Su Qi had never used a wine glass before. Seeing Su Qi staring blankly at the wine glass, Wang Zijin recalled a similar look she had when they were at a tea restaurant. Wang Zijin figured this might be a side effect of having lived as a boy, forgetting the refined essentials needed by girls. Thinking this, she gently tugged her wife into her arms and said, "Old Wang, An Ning and I will teach you all the joyful things girls do!" Hearing this, Su Qi couldn't help but shiver a little, sensing there was a lot more implied. Deciding it was best to remain silent, she thought better than to comment, for safety's sake. At that moment, Gu Panpan raised her glass and said, "Come on, let's celebrate the break!" Seeing Gu Panpan's offered glass, the three of them also raised their glasses. The clinking of the glasses created a crisp ringing sound as Su Qi took a sip of the wine. It offered a unique sweetness distinct from beer or liquor, with barely any alcohol taste—just a pleasant fragrance without being intoxicating. After a sip, An Ning playfully stuffed a fried chicken piece into Su Qi's mouth. Then commenced the exclusive girls' talk. Su Qi spoke little, leaving most of the conversation to the other three who chatted about various amusing topics. Listening to their lively and engaging banter, and looking at the now almost empty wine bottle and the elegantly clear but empty wine glasses on the table, Su Qi suddenly realized she was somewhat reluctant to leave this harmonious dormitory. As An Ning continued chatting, she noticed that their old Wang hadn’t spoken for a while. Turning her head slightly, she saw Su Qi's small face flushed, leaning against the wardrobe and sound asleep. At this point, Wang Zijin and Gu Panpan also glanced over and couldn’t help but smile wryly. Especially Gu Panpan, who had never seen anyone get knocked out with just a glass of wine before. Originally, Gu Panpan had plenty of things she wanted to say to Su Qi. But seeing Ah Qi sleep so sweetly, she felt it inappropriate to disturb her. Thinking for a moment, Gu Panpan suggested, “We haven’t taken a dorm photo yet. Should we take one now?” Her suggestion was quickly welcomed by Su Qi’s two roommates. After all, they had dorm photos as a trio, but never as a foursome. And so, a photo capturing Su Qi asleep was taken as the first group photo of the 507 dormitory. In the photo, three vibrant young women flashed charming smiles while the girl in the lower-left corner slept peacefully. Although different in style, the photo showed no inconsistency. After capturing this photo, the three of them took several more beautiful pictures to complete a nine-square collage. The girls shared the photos joyfully on their social media, encapsulating the essence of their final get-together before the holiday. By 3 PM, as Gu Panpan finished packing her luggage, she looked at her dorm mates with a twinge of reluctance. Yet, no banquet lasts forever, and train tickets wait for no one! With her large suitcase in hand, Gu Panpan carried a somewhat somber air, reminiscent of a sentimental scholar-poet. Despite the occasional playful punishment from An Ning and Wang Zijin, they genuinely liked their cheeky roommate. Witnessing her sorrowful, pouty expression as if saying, "Aren't you going to see me off?" finally melted the hearts of Su Qi's two wives. As for Su Qi, having just awakened slightly, she lay sprawled on her bed, still in a daze. The three vibrant young women, reminiscing about past adventures, walked downstairs, softening the sting of parting. Gu Panpan’s luggage was light and easy to carry. As they reached the first floor, Gu Panpan patted her pockets, realizing her phone was missing. She told Wang Zijin and An Ning, “I left my phone upstairs. Wait for me here.” With that, she handed her suitcase to Wang Zijin, then raced back upstairs. This, in fact, was Gu Panpan’s main goal for today. Having missed the chance to kiss Ah Qi last time—only to be led to the restroom and later left on the bench for a spanking—it still irked her. She felt she needed to kiss the sweet Su Qi; otherwise, it would haunt her throughout the holiday. And so, she devised this plan. Listening for any sounds of pursuit from below and hearing none, Gu Panpan's eyes sparkled with determination. As she approached the fifth floor, it was as if a voice echoed within her, "Victory, today belongs to Gu Panpan!" Upon hearing this, usually exhausted from climbing the sixth floor, today Gu Panpan felt an empowering strength welling from within, propelling her steps faster with each pace. Wang Zijin and An Ning exchanged glances upon hearing the increasingly quick footsteps. An Ning, with an amused smile, asked her friend, “Did you lock the door?” Wang Zijin, also smiling, turned to her friend and affirmed, “Of course it’s locked.” Without further words, the pair, in sync, began to ascend the stairs. It seemed it was time to punish this still unruly little kitten.
