266 - I Don’t Want to Be Turned Into the Female Protagonist by the System
# Chapter 266: Wang Yun's Surprise Su Qi sat in Wang Yun’s little red BMW sports car, watching the silhouette of her university fade into the distance and sighing at how time seemed to fly. The car made its way towards Green City Neighborhood. When they reached the security booth, Su Qi spotted the familiar security uncle again. Even though she called Bai Miao every two or three days, when she thought about it, they hadn’t met in over 20 days. While she had finally been punished by Bai Miao that night, which was a bit embarrassing—especially since the punishment had escalated beyond just a spanking—Su Qi couldn’t deny she missed Bai Miao. "It's you, little girl. Miss Bai didn’t come to work today. Lately, she's been busy with some real estate projects," the security uncle remarked. Hearing this, Su Qi wasn’t surprised. Every phone call with Bai Miao left her with the impression that Bai was always in a rush. In the driver's seat, Wang Yun couldn’t help but smile as she observed Su Qi's curiosity about Bai Miao. Wang Yun had noticed Bai Miao as well, especially since she was the agent when she signed the lease. It turned out Bai Miao was quite the lady, and she seemed to have a close relationship with the little girl, Su Qi. Finding this interesting, Wang Yun felt that her younger sister’s path seemed a bit daunting, considering the irresistible charm of this little girl beside her. After parking in the underground garage, the two headed to the elevator for the 15th floor. Standing before the door marked 1507, Su Qi couldn’t help but feel a sense of connection with the number 507. With the key, she unlocked the door. The room, long unvisited, seemed fresh and clean, devoid of any odd smells or dust. Su Qi glanced at Wang Yun, thinking she was so incredibly considerate and likely had the fridge stocked full as well. Seeing Su Qi's adoring eyes in the room, Wang Yun couldn’t resist but hug her tightly. "Hold on, Yun Jie, take your shoes off," Su Qi giggled, engulfed in Wang Yun's embrace that carried the scent of orchids. Today, Wang Yun was dressed in a white tracksuit with a simple logo, exuding sporty energy, which made her look particularly vibrant. Su Qi remembered seeing that outfit before, during a morning jog when she first moved to the Green City Neighborhood to rent her place. Reflecting on how their relationship had advanced to this point in less than two months, such that they could hug each other freely, was quite a revelation. After holding her for a while, Wang Yun released Su Qi, feeling relieved of so much tension. She initially intended to take the little one for a nap, believing that would be the ultimate stress relief. But recalling the note Su Qi left for her and her sister's friend, Wang Yun suppressed her desire. This wasn’t the place to stay for long anyway. Besides, she had an interesting plan yet to implement. "Little one, tidy up your things. I’m taking you somewhere for a proper lesson!" Wang Yun cheerfully announced. Su Qi blinked, puzzled. "Aren’t we supposed to study here? Why are we switching locations this time?" Wang Yun nudged her nose playfully. "Your theoretical knowledge is solid from our car ride. Now, I’m teaching you my signature skills. No way just a notebook can capture all of it—you’ll need a chalkboard. You don’t have one here, so we’ll move to a better spot." Recognizing the importance of learning to use a blackboard for outlining complex company relationships and industry chains, Su Qi understood. Strategy was essential after all, and though she glanced at the Stock Trading Bible 2 previously, she realized hitting upon a good strategy with Wang Yun was crucial. She nodded in agreement. "But Yun Jie, why are we packing? Aren’t we coming back to sleep tonight?" Su Qi asked, intrigued. Wang Yun patted Su Qi’s nose. "Of course not! After the lesson, it’ll be quite late. Didn’t you promise to warm my bed tonight?" Su Qi was aware Wang Yun bought a place, expecting they would go there. Still confused about the need for packing, she asked again: "Yun Jie, can't we leave our luggage here?" To this, Wang Yun pulled two amusement park tickets from her pocket, handing them to Su Qi. "You mentioned you’re heading back to Zhejiang the day after tomorrow, remember? Well, here’s a small surprise for you. I was saving it for then, but since you’re so persistent, I guess the surprise is out now," she said with a playful tap to Su Qi’s forehead. Holding her head with her right hand and the amusement park tickets with her left, Su Qi felt warmed by the thoughtfulness of Wang Yun. She hadn’t expected such a surprise. Su Qi had always wanted to visit an amusement park. Though she worked part-time jobs, creating original illustrations and designing games, at 18, she was still at an age of youthful innocence, yearning for the fun of an amusement park. But financial burdens had held her back, and the lack of a girlfriend was the primary setback. Wang Dongxu had invited her to tag along with him and his girlfriend, but no one likes being a third wheel. With the plan shelved indefinitely, now an opportunity presented itself. Gazing at the graceful figure of the neighborly big sister-like Wang Yun, Su Qi was thrilled at the prospect of going together the next day, filling her with joy and anticipation. But there was a problem; she had become a minor online celebrity. If recognized, and fans started shouting "Fei Ji!", the amusement park trip could turn awkward. Wang Yun saw the shift from Su Qi’s happy expression to a dimmer one and found it peculiar. "What’s in that head of yours?" she wondered– She soon deduced the cause and reassured, "Don’t worry about being recognized. I'm quite adept at makeup." Showing a picture of a woman on her phone, Wang Yun prompted, "Who do you think this is?" It took Su Qi three whole seconds to realize it was her own girlfriend, looking nothing like she usually did—more like a total transformation. "What do you think? With my makeup skills, the 'Fei Ji' version of you won’t get recognized, don’t worry!" Wang Yun assured. Despite her relief at Wang Yun’s words, hearing "Fei Ji" from her lips made Su Qi blush a little. With her cheeks turning rosy, Wang Yun couldn’t help but notice that the little girl seemed to have grown more charming in these few days. Ah, such an enchanting little minx indeed.
